On January 16, Hartford Highway Department Superintendent Greg Brown and department members John Gregory, Ralph Shattuck, and Bob Steves visited the elementary students to speak about winter safety, which included snow plow safety. The students had the opportunity to see snowplow chains, snowplow shoes and feel how heavy they are. They also asked Mr. Greg Brown questions. Then they went outside to see snow removal equipment up close.
