Welcome back and to Hartford!

My name is EJ Rodriguez (Mr. R or Mr. Rod is perfectly fine). I am very excited for this school year and am looking forward to meeting and working with everyone. I graduated from Pine Bush High School (near Middletown, NY -- Orange County), joined the Army for five years (1991-1996), and in the course of life have attended six different colleges. I have an AAS from Georgia Military College (1995), BA in World History from SUNY Albany (2000), MS in Secondary Education from Sage Graduate School (2003), and am certified Special Education with course work from the College of St. Rose.

For the 2015-2016 school year, I will be teaching Life Skills (during the am) emcompassing the following subjects:

Life Skills English, Life Skills Math, Food and Nutrition, and Skills Development.

During the afternoon, most of my students will be participating in our School to Work program
