Upcoming NYS 3-8 Assessments for Elementary & Middle School Students

Beginning in early April, elementary and middle school students will participate in the New York State Grades 3-8 Assessments in English Language Arts (ELA), mathematics, and science. These assessments will be administered digitally using Chromebooks.

The ELA and math exams will each take place over two days, while the science assessment will be completed in a single session. All tests remain untimed, allowing students to work at their own pace.
