Posted Date: 10/21/26 (12:25 PM)

Hartford Central School District is pleased to announce that Audrey Fiske, daughter of Nathan and Hillary Fiske, is the recipient of the 2026–2027 DAR Good Citizens Award.

Presented by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest was established in 1934 to recognize high school seniors who demonstrate dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. The program honors students who exemplify these qualities in their academic, school and community involvement.

Audrey demonstrates these qualities through her academic achievements, leadership roles and dedication to community service. She attends the Early College Career Academy Business and Entrepreneurship Program and is a member of both the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society.

A leader among her peers, Audrey serves as captain of the volleyball and basketball teams. She also mentors an elementary student, represents WSWHE BOCES at the Student Summit and serves as a representative at the NYSPHSAA Student Leadership Conference.

Audrey's commitment to service extends beyond the classroom. She volunteers at the Argyle Food Pantry and the Argyle Presbyterian Church nursery, teaches vacation Bible school and helps with the Hartford youth volleyball program.
In addition, Audrey participates in Key Club, Language Club, Yearbook Club, Varsity H Club and Young Life.

Following graduation, Audrey plans to attend college in the fall and major in finance.

Hartford Central School District congratulates Audrey on receiving this recognition and commends her for her academic accomplishments, leadership and commitment to making a positive difference in her school and community.
