The next Lockdown Drill is scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, at approximately 9:00 a.m. This drill will take place during the transition between first and second period at the Middle/High School. The timing is intentional, as it gives our students and staff the opportunity to practice procedures during a less structured time of day—when students are in the hallways.

In preparation, teachers will review lockdown procedures with students on Monday and Tuesday, including what to do if a lockdown occurs during a transition. Students will be reminded to enter the nearest classroom, even if it’s not their scheduled class, and stay there until released.

Please know that this is only a drill and an important part of our school safety planning. We appreciate your support in helping students understand that these drills are designed to keep everyone safe and prepared in the unlikely event of an emergency.
