Hartford Central School is proud to announce the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Class of 2025.
Bryton C. Mandigo, son of Theresa and Travis Mattison, has been named Valedictorian. Bryton is a member of the National Honor Society and has been actively involved in both Cross Country and Soccer. He served as Captain of the Cross Country team and was recognized as an Adirondack League All-Star. One of the highlights of his high school career was winning the Adirondack League Cross Country Championship during his senior year. Bryton will attend SUNY Plattsburgh, where he plans to major in Expeditionary Studies, with the goal of working for the National Park Service.
Stephen Anthony Mercure, son of Anthony Mercure and Donna Hill, has been named Salutatorian. Stephen is a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. He participated in Basketball and served as a Captain of the team. A memorable moment for Stephen was the opportunity to play at the Cool Insuring Arena. Following graduation, he plans to pursue a career in the HVAC-R field, utilizing his technical certification.
