WSWHE BOCES Hosts Annual Meeting, Showcasing Student Excellence

On April 2, 2025, WSWHE BOCES held its Annual Meeting for trustees and Board of Education members from its component school districts. The event, attended by over 70 guests, served as an opportunity to highlight the achievements of BOCES students and programs while bringing together educational leaders from across the region.

A key highlight of the evening was the Culinary Arts students’ preparation and service of a delicious meal for attendees. Among them was William Babicz, a student in the Culinary Arts program, who proudly represented the district alongside Kallie Knoll, a student in the Environmental Conservation and Forestry program. Both students showcased their dedication and hard work in their respective fields.

Representing the district at the event were Superintendent Cook and Board of Education members Mr. Fish, Mr. Jessen, and Mr. Smith. They were honored to support and celebrate the efforts of these outstanding students, recognizing the impact of BOCES programs in preparing students for future careers and academic success.

The annual meeting provided an excellent platform to highlight the important role that BOCES plays in career and technical education, equipping students with valuable skills and hands-on experience. The district extends its gratitude to WSWHE BOCES for hosting this event and for their continued commitment to student success.
