District Announces Tarina Hunt as DAR Good Citizen Recipient

We are pleased to announce that Tarina Hunt has been selected as the recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award. Tarina was nominated by faculty and voted by her fellow class members as best exemplifying the characteristics of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.

Tarina serves her peers as president of Key Club, and she is a member of the National Honor Society. Outside of school, Tarina volunteers for the American Suicide Foundation by helping with the Out of the Darkness Walks. She has also volunteered at the Kingsbury Baptist Church’s roast beef dinners. 

Upon graduation, Tarina plans to begin her studies in biology at SUNY Adirondack with the goal of becoming a coroner.
