Library to host Outdoor Summer Fun Program

Again this summer, the Hartford Central School District library will host an outdoor summer fun program. The program will begin on Wednesday, July 10 and run through Wednesday, August 14. The times are 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., with the story beginning at 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The program is free to Hartford residents, and families are encouraged to attend. The program dates and themes are as follows:

 

Wednesday, July 10
Theme: Fishing
Activity: Making a fishing bobber zipper pull

 

Wednesday, July 17
Theme: Hiking
Activity: Decorating walking sticks

 

Wednesday, July 24
Theme: Baseball
Activity: Creating a baseball game

 

Wednesday, July 31
Theme: Beach
Activity: Making seashell bookmarks

 

Wednesday, August 7
Theme: Horseback riding
Activity: Decorating horse shoes

 

Wednesday, August 14
Theme: Camping
Activity: Making s’mores parfaits
