HARTFORD RECEIVES STATE
RECOGNITION
On May 15th the Commissioner
of Education held a press conference to recognize school districts
for their results on state assessments. I am pleased to announce
that Hartford was listed as a High Performing/Gap Closing School.
Schools so listed are recognized because they have met all applicable
State standards for English Language Arts and Math during the 2006-07
and have also made Adequate Yearly Progress in both subject areas
for two consecutive years.
Our students and staff have
worked hard to achieve this recognition and I would like to congratulate
one and all. And a special thank you to the parents of our students
who have supported their children as they progress through our system.
